My Favourite Season

Seeing the beauty of nature return for at least three months more,

Understanding my spirituality being at one in the great outdoors,

Marvelling at the rebirth and rejuvenation of the planets' forests' lives,

Meaningful longer days of light help me feel better and creatively thrive,

Energetically I raise a toast to the power of God and our Earthly Mother,

Remembering life is still good in the face of strife and loving each other!

Do you consider it a holiday? regardless, enjoy my poem. H appy youngsters going door to door asking for treats,      A damant drivers hopefully slowing down on the streets, L arge bags of candy are inspected by parents being careful, L ooking out for children is indeed paramount and universal, O range coin boxes were part of my night out as an eager kid, W elcoming money for UNICEF was also what I and many did, E ventually our treat hunt ends and we get home safe and sound, E ven after a sugar rush the donations were key as we unwound,   N ovember begins and schools submit those boxes by the pounds! P.S. This piece makes reference to Halloween for myself when I was a child way back when, I hope you liked my work, have a wonderful  weekend; until next time, keep on creating to all of my loyal readers  and supporters, thank you kindly for your ongoing interest and support.
