Another poetic year begins for me.

A Fine Friend

Kind-hearted and multi-talented artist and person,

It didn't take long for me to notice the laughter and fun,

Mother and wife in a Havelock and YouTube family,

Learning more about the fiber arts became so easy,

Always expressed joy and much strength and positivity,

Blessed with many gifts during her rollercoaster of life,

Experiences built that character well despite much strife,

Loving every day she was given always shone through,

Letting me know her appreciation was always in view,

Even I humbly realize that she will never be forgotten!

You do indeed resemble your late mother too, I hope that 2025 is good to you and your whole family, and once Raelyn is old enough, she'll know how great a person Kim was too, bye for now. <3

    Good day to my supporters, this is just an update, I have simply not been motivated enough to continue with my blogging and poetry this year, but I hope to start it back up by the spring, take care and bye for now.

N oteworthy that it was the largest ship on the Great Lakes at that time, O ffering a modern 1950s style of freighter made the "Fitz" very sublime, V essels became bigger as this mighty carrier still gave 17 years of service,  E veryone who boarded and worked on her was filled with pride and bliss, M aintaining a standard of excellence for almost two decades until one day, B eing loaded in Wisconsin and crossing Superior lead to cruel bitter dismay, E xperienced crewmen knew the risks of bad weather given the turn in season, R ecalling 29 souls lost in mystery five decades on remains the somber reason!

October 31st.

Do you consider it a holiday? regardless, enjoy my poem. H appy youngsters going door to door asking for treats,      A damant drivers hopefully slowing down on the streets, L arge bags of candy are inspected by parents being careful, L ooking out for children is indeed paramount and universal, O range coin boxes were part of my night out as an eager kid, W elcoming money for UNICEF was also what I and many did, E ventually our treat hunt ends and we get home safe and sound, E ven after a sugar rush the donations were key as we unwound,   N ovember begins and schools submit those boxes by the pounds! P.S. This piece makes reference to Halloween for myself when I was a child way back when, I hope you liked my work, have a wonderful  weekend; until next time, keep on creating to all of my loyal readers  and supporters, thank you kindly for your ongoing interest and support.
